It must be very frustrating to find that your study materials didn't help prepare you like they should have. Since I work for HRCP and we are always trying to improve our product, I kept track of those topics on my exam that I couldn't remember seeing in the HRCP Program. I'm happy to report that my list was very short! I estimate that the topics for 97% of my exam questions were covered in the HRCP Program! I took the SPHR exam today and failed it. The exam was completely unrelated to the material I had prepared for. I used the SPHR exam prep (by Larry Phillips). In the first 10 mins I just knew it wasnt anything I had prepared for. I was totally calm, and expected to pass the exam till the very end. Alas!, I have failed it.
